Tired of the same old mental conditioning? Then try the Reconditioning Service of The Quote of the Week!
Ever feel like life spends most of its time keeping score? We get so used to strict limits, strict rules, and counting up every single mistake that we forget there’s a much bigger picture out there. In his epic poem, The Divine Comedy, Italian poet Dante Alighieri gives us a powerful reminder that no matter how far you might have wandered off track—whether caught in overthinking, feelings of regret, or the urge to get even—it's okay to give yourself and others a little extra grace:
"Infinite goodness has wide arms."
Dante Alighieri (Purgatorio, Canto III)

So as you go through your week, try laying down the scorecard.
Extend that wide-armed grace to yourself, and maybe leave a little room
to offer it to someone else who might be running low on it.
(Something I definitely need to do!)
