Welcome to the Quote of the Week. Serving the Psycho-Spiritual Needs of People since 1984!! What does courage actually sound like, when no one else is around to hear it? Mary Anne Radmacher had a thought about that question and it is this week's quote.

“Courage does not always howl. Sometimes it's the quiet voice in the back of your
head at night that says, ‘I will try again tomorrow."

WORTH KNOWING
Radmacher's original line, from her bestselling poster and book Courage Doesn't Always Roar, uses “roar” rather than “howl” — “Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.’” Same idea, slightly different wording than the version above.
DEEPER MEANING
We tend to picture courage as loud and dramatic — a big leap, a bold confrontation. Radmacher points at the far more common version: the private decision to keep going after a day that didn't go well, made by no one but you, witnessed by no one but you.
ASK YOURSELF
Where in your life right now would simply trying again tomorrow already count as an act of courage?
TRY THISTonight, instead of tallying up what went wrong today, just say — out loud or in writing — “I will try again tomorrow.”
Let that be the whole plan for now.
