Hello everybody and Welcome to the Quote of the Week!!! What is your definition of happiness? Famed movie director, Alfred Hitchcock knew and that is this week's quote! Enjoy!__________
"A clear horizon — nothing to worry about on your plate, only things that are creative and not destructive… I can’t bear quarreling, I can’t bear feelings between people — I think hatred is wasted energy, and it’s all non-productive. I’m very sensitive — a sharp word, said by a person, say, who has a temper, if they’re close for me, hurts me for days. I know we’re only human, we do go in for these various emotions, call them negative emotions, but when all these are removed and you can look forward and the road is clear ahead, and now you’re going to create something — I think that’s as happy as I’ll ever want to be.”

Welcome to the Quote of the Week. The BEST day, year and vitamin is the theme for this week's quotes. Enjoy!
__________
“The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on, or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.”

_________
A Quote of the Week Recycled Classic...
"The best year of our lives is not made up of days or weeks or months. It is made up of moments. Moments when we allow our separateness to melt away so we can be truly intimate with another; moments when we take a risk and express our love in an unexpected way; moments when we choose forgiveness over resentment; moments when we appreciate the perfection of where we are and who we are with. These are the moments that bring meaning to our lives and joy to our hearts."

Welcome to the Quote of the Week! Your weekly spiritual snack for mind, body & soul. After a While is the theme for this week's quote (a poem really) but for me after reading it, it probably should be named After a Long, Long, Long While.
__________
After a While
After a while you learn the difference,
Subtle difference,
Between holding a hand and
Chaining a soul.
You learn that love
Doesn’t mean leaning and
Company doesn’t mean security.
You begin to learn
That kisses aren’t contracts and
Presents aren’t promises.
You begin to accept your defeats
With your head up and your eyes open,
With the grace of an adult,
Not the grief of a child.
You learn to build
All your roads on today
Because tomorrow’s ground
Is too uncertain for plans.
After a while you learn
That even sunshine burns
If you get too much.
So you plant your own garden and
Decorate your own soul
Instead of waiting
For someone to bring you flowers.
You learn
That you really can endure.
That you really are strong.
You really do have worth

Good Morning New and Old members of the Quote of the Week! It is now time to leave your world of tension, anxiety and doubt. So please sit back, slow down your pulse, and tune into this week's quote!
_________
"You think this is just another day in your life. It’s not just another day — it’s the one day that is given to you, today. It’s given to you, it’s a gift. It’s the only gift that you have right now, and the only appropriate response is gratefulness. If you do nothing else but to cultivate that response to the great gift that this unique day is, if you learn to respond as if it were the first day in your life, and the very last day, then you would have spent this day very well.”

What me Worry? When it comes to worry, studies have shown the following statistics:
40% never happens.
30% of what we worry about has already happened.
12% are needless worries.
10% are petty and unimportant.
8% of what we worry about actually happens. Of this percentage…
4% of our worries that happen are beyond our control.
4% of what we worry about we have some if not all control over the results.
Given these statistics, I hope you enjoy the Quote of the Week!
__________
“Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its troubles…. it empties today of its strength”
Corrie ten Boom
__________
A Recycled Quote of the Week Classic...
YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW
There are two days in every week about which we should not worry, two days that should be kept from fear and apprehension.
One of them is yesterday with its mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders, its aches and pains.
Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control.
All the money in the world cannot bring back yesterday. We cannot undo a single act we performed; we cannot erase a single word. Yesterday is gone.
The other day we should not worry about is tomorrow, with its possible adversities, its burdens, its large promise and poor performance. Tomorrow is also beyond our control.
Tomorrow’s sun will rise, either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds – but it will rise. Until it does, we have no stake in tomorrow, for it is as yet unborn.
This leaves only today. Any man can fight the battles of just one-day. It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternities – yesterday and tomorrow – that we break down.
It is not the experience of today that drives men mad. It is the remorse and bitterness for something which happened yesterday, and the dread of what tomorrow will bring.
Let us, therefore, live but one day at a time.

They're huge and abstract. And they're very beautiful. I look for a certain kind of fish that is important to me, one that can translate to cinema. But there are all kinds of fish swimming down there. There are fish for business, fish for sports. There are fish for everything. Everything, anything that is a thing, comes up from the deepest level. Modern physics calls that level the Unified Field.
