From the Quote of the Week Files, December 19, 2011

Welcome to the Quote of the Week. Your presence, exactly as is at this very moment, is greatly appreciated. Come on in and enjoy today's quote!
__________

"Difficult times have helped me to understand better than before, how infinitely rich and beautiful life is in every way, and that so many things that one goes worrying about are of no importance whatsoever..."

Isak Dinesen
__________

A Recycled Quote of the Week Classic...

"By three methods we may learn wisdom: first, by reflection, which is noblest; second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest."

Confucius
__________

And talk of Reflection, I just saw started my "Year in Review" to see if I made any progress this year and find what areas may need attention as I move forward in 2012 (still a lot of work to do ;-)). Below is a list of some questions for reflection for my "Year in Review" project. Just thought I would share!
__________

What occurred in my life this past year?
What were my main accomplishments and successes?
Based on what I learned last year, what am I committed to accomplishing this year and in the future?
Were there any breakthroughs?
What did I learn from my experiences last year?
What am I committed to accomplishing this year and in the future?
Who do I want thank for their support and love?
What was I excited about?
Where was I fearful?
To whom do I owe an apology?
What am I most proud of?
What am I least proud of?
What do I regret?
Do any of my relationships need special attention?
Are there things that could have been resolved that I have not allowed to be resolved?
What is still unfinished?
What is my main vision for 2012?
__________

Wishing you the most beautiful day, wherever this may find you!
