Time now for The Recycled "Old Year Reflection Questions"
For the past few years, I have come up with a list of questions that will hopefully help you (and me) reflect on this year so you may clear the path for the brand new year ahead of us and to move forward on a more positive pathway to manifest what's next!  Here are this year's questions...
What occurred in my life this past year?
What were my main accomplishments and successes?
Based on what I learned last year, what am I committed to accomplishing this year and in the future?
Were there any breakthroughs?
What did I learn from my experiences last year?
What am I committed to accomplishing this year and in the future?
Who do I want thank for their support and love?
What was I excited about?
Where was I fearful?
To whom do I owe an apology?
What am I most proud of?
What am I least proud of?
What do I regret?
Do any of my relationships need special attention?
Are there things that could have been resolved that I have not allowed to be resolved?
What is still unfinished?
What is my main vision for 2015?
Your own question
____
If the above questions make your hair hurt, maybe this recycled quote of the week by Patti Digh might offer some insight...
"At the end of each year, I ask myself two questions:

1)      What do I want to create in this New Year? And, perhaps even more importantly,
2)      What do I want to let go of?"

"This Holiday Season...

Mend a quarrel. Seek out a forgotten friend. Dismiss suspicion, and replace it with trust.
Write a love letter. Share some treasure. Give a soft answer. Offer encouragement.

Manifest your loyalty in word and deed. Keep a promise. Find the time. Forgive an enemy.

Listen. Apologize if you are wrong. Try to understand. Flout envy. Examine your demands

on others. Think first of someone else. Appreciate. Be kind; be gentle. Laugh a little.

Laugh a little more.

Deserve confidence. Take up arms against malice. Decry complacency.
Express your gratitude. Welcome a stranger. Gladden the heart of a child.

Take pleasure in the beauty and wonder of the earth. Speak your love. Speak it again.Speak it still once again."

Welcome to the Quote of the Week. Your presence, exactly as is at this very moment, is greatly appreciated. Come on in and enjoy today's quote!

“It is a miracle if you can find true friends, and it is a miracle if you have enough food to eat, and it is a miracle if you get to spend your days and evenings doing whatever it is you like to do, and the holiday season - like all the other seasons - is a good time not only to tell stories of miracles, but to think about the miracles in your own life, and to be grateful for them."

08 December 2014

From the Quote of the Week Files; December 8, 2014

Breathe.

Whatever you’re doing right now, take a deep breath, than another.
You are so beautiful, has anyone told you that lately?
And there’s something more important, you’re strong.
I know sometimes it feels like you’re not.
Maybe even most of the time,
but please don’t forget that you’re stronger than you know.
Every day, you wake up no matter what you have gone through you wake up in the morning,
so please take a second to appreciate that.
After all these years you still have hope.
It’s buried inside of you and maybe that sounds ridiculous,
but you keep going every day, and that’s what makes you incredible.

Breathe today, breathe right now.

Sometimes things are too much, and I want you to know that’s okay.
There will be times when you want to break down and cry,
times when you want to fall asleep and never ever wake up again.
T
hat doesn’t make you weak, it makes you human, and that’s beautiful, too.
After all that you’ve been through, you can still feel,
never under estimate that, because you know what that means?
There is hope
.
.
It means you’ll feel love and happiness.
It means you’ll feel pride and joy.
It means you’re still alive,
but more than that, it means you’re still living.
Stay strong, never stop feeling, but sometimes…
just breathe.

"When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love."

Good Morning, Good Afternoon or Good Evening and Welcome to the Quote of the Week!

That's who you really are.
LET GO

A Recycled Quote of the Week Classic...

"If you were going to make this the best holiday season ever, how would you do it?  It won't happen for most people, because most people won't have that as their #1 intention.  And it's unlikely that you'll have the life-changing holidays that you could have if you don't create a powerful intent."
